Congregational United Church of Christ

We leave the judging to God!

No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!

The Congregational United Church of Christ is a church that reaches out to the world at large.    Some of our missions:

NOAH’S BREAKFAST

Every Saturday morning, throughout the year, volunteers prepare a breakfast for community members who otherwise may not have a hot meal.  All are welcome to attend.

HEIFER INTERNATIONAL

For several years now the church has adopted Heifer International as one of our primary mission focuses.  Heifer provides livestock to folks in an effort to assist the needy to learn to feed themselves.  The firstborn offspring of donated livestock are passed on to other needy folk, thus multiplying the gift.

CHARLES HALL YOUTH SERVICES

Another organization the church supports is Charles Hall Youth Services who provides a group home setting for young people who are having a difficult time living at home.  Charles Hall helps these young folks learn life skills with the goal of returning them to their homes ready to cope with the particular problems life presents them.

MANY OTHER MISSIONS

The Men’s and Women’s Fellowship and the church as a whole contribute time, labor and money to many other missions too numerous to mention throughout the year.

About Us:

We believe that each person is unique and valuable. It is the will of God that every person belong to a family of faith where they have a strong sense of being valued and loved.

We believe that the persistent search for God gives life purpose and direction.

We believe that all of the baptized "belong body and soul to our

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." No matter who - no matter what -

no matter where we are in life's journey - we all belong to God

and to one worldwide community of faith.

We believe that all people of faith are invited to join Christ at

Christ's table for the sacrament of Communion.

We believe the UCC is called to be a united and uniting church. The UCC has no rigid formulation of doctrine or attachment to creeds or structures. Its overarching creed is love.

We believe that God calls us to be servants in the service of others and to be good stewards of the earth's resources.

We believe that God calls the church to speak truth to power, liberate the oppressed, care for the poor and comfort the afflicted.

We believe in the power of peace and work for nonviolent solutions to local, national, and international problems.

As a "congregational" church, we believe in the autonomy of the local church, and its freedom - and responsibility - to determine its own course as conscience dictates.
